Boston Tea Party

The colonists in American tried to act together as they hate the acts. However, the British East India Company was in trouble ,for they could not sell their tea to other countries because of the customs taxes, so the government thought it will bring profits to both the colonies and themselves if they sold the tea to the colonies in America without any duty. But some colonial merchants thought if so, they would lose benefit on selling their own tea, so most of Americans refused to buy the tea. The British thought Boston would be a good place to sell the tea ,and they brought their ships their, but on the night of December 16, 1773, people leaded by Sam Adams disguised as Mohawk Indians and they made the famous tea party---threw 342 chests of tea into the sea.
