The Battle of Concord

Before the battle, many Americans still owned the hope to talk with the British empire. However, the first continental congress broke their day-dreaming. Massachusetts had been a main target of British forces, and the people in Mass collected military supplies in Concord, a little town near Boston. Paul Revere and William Dawes were sent to warn them that British would destroy their supplies.
The Battle of Lexington

The Americans got the warning and they wanted to attack British from ranks by surprise. The next day, hundreds of British army found 70 American militia, and the battle in Lexington began, at the beginning ,the British killed eight Americans, and ten Americans wounded. However, when the British went ahead, they were amazed by the appearance of thousands of American militia, at last, before the British fell back to their ships, 300 of them were killed and wounded, American only lost 100 or fewer.
